frankly, Les Petits Enfants du Siècle is a book by Christiane Rochefort. the book itself speaks about the children in post-war France who face the baby boom phenomena, where Josyane, the eldest in the family has to take care of her little siblings and work to help her parents.

in my work, I choose this title because the kids in this picture look like the are looking at the clothings and there's a reflection of a shoes store. so I choose this title because kids of our century are forced to consume everything.
